PATIENT RIGHTS

Patients at MESA HOSPITAL have the following rights;

to receive healthcare in general;
with equity and justice everyone has the right to benefit from the activities that promote healthy living and preventive health services,

to access to service in an equal manner;
regardless of racial, linguistic, religous, sectual, gender, political idea, philosophical belief, economic and social differences, everyone has the right to receive the same service,

to receive information;
everyone has the right to get informed on different alternatives to service and medical opportunities,

to choose the facility;
everyone has the right to choose the healthcare facility that they prefer and to change the facility as they seem appropriate,

to meet, select and change the staff;
everyone has the right to learn the identity, the duty and the titles of the doctors and other staff who are providing healthcare and have the right to select and change the staff,

to request information;
everyone has the right to get information either orally or written about his/her health condition,

to keep his/her privacy;
everyone has the right to receive healthcare in an environment that respects their privacy,

to informed consent;
everyone has the right to receive healthcare within the framework of informed consent,

to reject and cease;
everyone has the right to reject or cease treatment,

to safety;
everyone has the right to receive healthcare in a safe environment,

to perform their religious duties;
inline with the capabilities of the establishment and measures taken by the management, everyone has the right to perform their religious duties,

to be respected;
everyone has the right to receive healthcare in a respectful, attentive, genial, kind and compassionate manner,

to comfort;
everyone has the right to receive healthcare where all appropriate conditions are provided,

to accept visitors;
everyone has the right to accept visitors inline with the principles and procedures of the hospital,

to have a company during stay at the hospital;
everyone has the right to have someone accompany them in accordance with the legislation, guidelines and capabilities of the facility and with doctors' consent,

to apply, complain and open a lawsuit;
in case of infringement of their rights, everyone has the right to apply, complain and open a lawsuit within the framework of the legislation,

to receive countinous healthcare;
everyone has the right to receive health service as needed.
